Young 5’s Weekly News
May 8, 2017
This week we will be celebrating mothers and vowels. We will first wrap up “at” on Monday. Plans were changed Friday due to a sick kid at home. Mother’s Day projects will not fit in mailboxes so watch for a sign to pick them up in the classroom starting on Wednesday at the earliest.
The kids have been working on reading strategies in the classroom. They are all doing well. I will explain more during conferences this week.
We will be studying the story of Tabitha and Lydia this week. Tabitha was a very charitable woman. She made clothes for poor people. Lydia was a well to do woman who sold a famous purple dye. She came to faith when Paul met she and her friends. Both women had great faith in God.
