Young 5’s Weekly News

J is our letter this week. To is our new sight word. “Pete the Cat,” is our new book/author focus. We will also be talking about spring. We are all ready for spring. J says the sound we hear in jar. We will be jumping, playing with jars, setting up a Jurassic scene with dinosaurs, and juggling scarves.
Remember to send in your reading records and keep reading. We had a good turn out from Young 5’s last week. Keep it up. Landen’s family won an A&W gift card (courtesy of Terryn’s reading record) and Grace’s family won the reading basket. Lots more to win….

This week we will be learning about Jesus riding into Jerusalem. We will learn about the joyful greeting Jesus received as He entered. Many people were excited to meet and see Jesus. They waved palms, laid their cloaks on the road, and shouted, “Hosanna! Hosanna!”
